Krishna Rastogi

Krishna is an Innovator | Maker | Researcher | Engineer. Krishna is working as an Innovation Engineer at REDX Innovation Lab, Mumbai.His curiosity and hands-on experience motivates him to research,design and test innovative prototypes.He is an anti - disciplinarian and has done several projects in various fields including electronics, environmental and health diagnostics to solve real-life problems.

He was a visiting student at Molecular Electronics Lab, Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research, Bangalore from Feburary - May, 2015. He worked on "Object Based Edge Detection Using Single Pixel Organic Polymer/Electrolyte Interfaces for Biomimicking Retina" under Prof K. S. Narayan

He was a visiting student in the Camera Culture Group at the MIT Media Lab from April - December, 2014. At the lab, my work focuses on developing novel approaches for low-cost and non-invasive diagnostic medical devices under Prof Ramesh Raskar. I was exploring retinal, hair and dental imaging in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of researchers and scientists.

He completed his undergraduate degree in biotechnology from PES University, Bangalore. During his undergraduate program, he worked on projects involving several disciplines (electronics, environmental, healthcare) to solve real-life problems.

My research interests are low cost Health Diagnostic, Environmental Studies, sensors, cameras, Wearables, Mobile-based Technologies, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Optics, Olfaction Studies and Biomedical Imaging.

Besides work, he love to travel and admire nature.
